Sunderland care home Residents enjoy afternoon teaResidents at HC-One’s Falstone Court care home in Sunderland recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the garden, taking advantage of the recent lovely weather.

After a long time isolating inside the home due to the coronavirus pandemic, recently Residents at Falstone Court have started to, slowly, experience a bit of normality. Colleagues at the home have worked tirelessly to make it safe to go out into the homes beautiful garden and Residents can now enjoy a bit of sunshine and fresh air.

On 17th July, Residents and Colleagues enjoyed a tasty afternoon tea in the garden whilst the sun was shining and listened to some relaxing music whilst they sipped on their tea.

Residents sang along to the music and some even had a little dance. They all enjoyed a little bit of ice cream afterwards which topped off their afternoon. “I have had a lovely afternoon, it is so nice that we are starting to return to a bit of normality again. What a beautiful sunny day,” said one Falstone Court Resident.
