Rotherham United arranged for gifts to be donated to their supporters at Silverwood care home, which offers residential and residential memory care.
Goodie bags were donated to Residents. Charles, who is known around the home as ‘Charlie’, was absolutely over the moon to receive his. Charlie is a big Millers fan and was very excited to receive his bag, see pictured.
He commented, “This is fantastic! I have a new calendar for my room and the housekeeper is going to hang it for me today. The shirt is great!”
Home Manager, Carrie Ann Davies, remarked, “We have missed working with Rotherham United throughout the pandemic as we usually participate in the care home Olympics.”
“Charles has been a fan of Rotherham United all of his life and thinks RUFC were very thoughtful to give him gifts.”
