Residents at HC-One’s Kettlewell House care home in Woking, Surrey have been taking part in lots of lovely Valentine’s Day-themed activities this week to spread the love.
On the morning of the big day, Kettlewell House Colleagues beautifully decorated the dining room with heart-shaped balloons and Valentine’s Day banners.
Earlier in the week, Residents made their very own decorations, including ornate hanging hearts and vase decorations. Colleagues made sure to show off the Residents’ hard work and beautiful creations as they placed them around the dining room.
Residents enjoyed plenty of sweet treats including chocolate and healthy fruit skewers as they chatted about their loved ones and swapped their fondest romantic memories.
After a delicious lunch, some Residents enjoyed video calls with their family while others were serenaded by a singer on Zoom as they snacked on chocolate along with a tipple of sherry.
The decorations really brightened up Kettlewell House this Valentine’s Day and seeing their own handmade ornaments on display and their hard work pay off brought a sense of achievement to Residents.
