Sussex home hosts China themed dayFor Bexhill-on-Sea located care home, Grosvenor Park, they hosted their own China themed day where Residents were given the option to order a Chinese takeaway fr their lunch. 

Some Residents decided to eat their takeaway in their rooms, others chose to get together in the lounge which Colleagues had set up fully decorated tables and themed décor everywhere. 

The Residents, including Liz, Elizabeth, Jean T, Jean L, Pam, Mark, Kate, Eileen, Sarah and Sheila, really enjoyed their takeaways and thought they were, “delicious”.

One member of the team said, “We then got together with more Residents for a China themed afternoon with quizzes, traditional fans, fortune cookies, Chinese music and of course ribbon dancing! It was a brilliant day and we all had a great laugh.”

One of the Grosvenor Park Residents commented, “It has been such a lovely day and we have all really enjoyed ourselves.”

Home Manager, Jackie O'Callaghan, remarked, “We always love our cultural themed days because it gives Residents a chance to experience new and exciting ways of life. We all particularly enjoyed the food for this one.”
