Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Stoneyford care home hosted a tea party fit for Resident Iris as it was her birthday.
Resident Iris was celebrating her 90th birthday at the Sutton-In-Ashfield care home today so it was decided to throw a royal tea party in honour of it.
The homes chef created a beautiful birthday cake for Iris which was shared out during the tea party, it was created with all of Iris’s favourite colours in mind.
Staff also put up banners and balloons around the home to mark the occasion. Everybody made sure that the day was made extra special and wish Iris a very happy birthday.
Iris said “I am so thankful for the party, I don’t feel a day over 21! In fact I’m not 90, I’m 89 plus one.”
