Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s The Beeches care home were very pleased to receive a lovely donation of some new bird feeders.
The Tameside care home received a very kind donation from Resident Catherine’s family, as her son in law Malcom has been making bird feeders during lockdown.
He’s made a special one for the Residents of The Beeches, and they are going to put it on the hill outside the dining room window for Catherine and her friends to look at, and hopefully see some wildlife stopping for some food and a rest.
It was definitely a talking point at lunch time and everyone commented on how good it was. They all said what a wonderful job Malcolm had achieved and they were very thankful he had thought of them during these difficult times.
Resident Catherine said “how wonderful of Malc to think of us, he is so talented, I cannot wait for the birds to start using it.”
Sade, the homes wellbeing coordinator commented “What a lovely donation to the home, we will place near the dining room window for everyone to see.”
