Teesside care home Residents tuck into sweet treats for Valentine’s DayResidents have been tucking into delicious Valentine’s Day treats this week as they decorated for the occasion at HC-One’s Victoria House care home in Stockon-on-Tees.

After a busy day decorating the home with plenty of love hearts, flowers and banners, Residents were treated to a trolley filled with sweet love-themed treats, including Jammy Dodgers, cakes and heart-shaped sweets.

To spread the warmth and love throughout Victoria House, Residents also enjoyed a hot chocolate, topped with cream and as many marshmallows and their hearts desired.

As the week of love progresses, Residents can look forward to a Valentine’s-themed quiz, bingo and plenty of other fun activities.
Victoria House Wellbeing Coordinator, Carly Barker, commented: “It’s nice to have a reason to decorate the home and give the Residents a treat.”
