Tetbury care home Residents enjoy donated jigsaw puzzlesResidents at HC-One’s Ilsom House care home in Tetbury were kindly gifted some wooden puzzles and tried their hand at completing them.

The team at the local ‘Wentworth Puzzles’ kindly donated some wooden puzzles for Residents to challenge themselves to, with one being fittingly being a VE Day puzzle. 

The Residents at Ilsom House, along with the help from the staff helped put together the VE Day puzzle which went on display with the rest of the VE Day decorations in the lounge.

One Ilsom House Resident said: “Beautiful, takes me back to that wonderful day of celebrations and happiness.”

For Residents, doing a jigsaw can have a meditative and therapeutic effect on the brain, helping to calm someone with dementia and help them to feel content.

The help that the local community around the home, in Tetbury, during these unprecedented and everyone at the home and at HC-One would like to thank Wentworth Puzzles for their kind donation.
