Tetbury care home create beautiful bisque bird tea lightsResidents at HC One’s Ilsom House care home got creative this afternoon making their very own bisque bird tea lights.

Colleagues at the Tetbury home know how Residents love to get creative, so came up with the idea of painting the china birds.

Residents opted for lots of different colours to make their birds as bright as possible. Once the paints dried up, Residents then added decorative feathers to bring the birds to life!

One they were all finished, a tea light was placed within the china bird and everybody lit theirs up. They all looked beautiful!

The Residents were very happy with their creations, they are now sitting pride of place in their bedrooms.

One of the Residents commented “my bird looked like a budgie, so many colours!”
