The flamingos have landed at Bexhill-on-SeaA local charity close to Grosvenor Park care home, in Bexhill-on-Sea, has set up a FUN-draiser where if you donate, then the flamingos migrate to your front garden for the day.

So that’s exactly what Grosvenor Park did!

The temporary resident flamingos flew in at 6.30 in the morning so the Residents woke up to a lovely surprise!

The flamingos could be seen from in the garden, Residents’ windows, the restaurant, lounge and library – so they were hard to miss!

The Residents, including Sheila, Margaret, Sylvia, Pam, Adrianne, Jean, Sylvia, Joy and Elizabeth, loved going out to see them and having pictures taken with them to send to friends and family.

One Resident laughed, “They are such good fun we want to keep them.”

Even Tigs, the home’s Resident cat liked them, see pictured her laying in the grass with the flamingos.

Jackie O’Callaghan, the home’s Manager, said, “It created a lovely buzz with residents and staff alike.”
