It’s been a busy few weeks at HC-One’s
The Hyde residential care home in Dorset as the ‘Big Green Week’ has happened as well as a sponsored cycle!
On 26th September, members of the public in the local area visited the grounds around the Hyde (socially distanced and with all precautions in place) and discussed the upcoming tree planting. Gardener Simon and Home Manager Becky were involved and agree that the grounds look simply amazing!
One of the Residents Keith loved helping throughout the day and showing off the home.
Becky commented, “It’s so nice to see people from the community.”
Today, a sponsored static cycle took pace with the distance from London to Paris (360.4km) made by Colleagues at the home who spent 19 hours in doing so!
One of the Colleagues said, “Hardest thing I have ever done!”
Residents love ho dedicated the staff are and Becky said she is very proud of her team.
This was in order to raise money towards purchasing Residents an interactive ‘Magic Table’.
