Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s Barton Brook care home, have been creating Christmas cards and decorations.
Everyone at the Manchester care home have been ready to get into the Christmas spirit a little earlier this year.
Shirley, a part of the Barton Brook activities team, was been helping Residents create their very own Christmas decorations and cards.
Each of the handmade decorations has a picture of the Resident on them. These are then going to be sent out to their loved ones as something special to put on their Christmas tree.
Residents Lily and Margaret were especially proud of their finished decorations and loved showing them off to other Residents.
Another day in the home, Shirley helped the Residents make Christmas cards too.
The Residents loved getting to write their very own messages in them to send out to their friends and families.
It felt lovely to create something so personal to send out to feel closer to their family, especially at this wonderful time of the year that is all about family.
