The sun was shining today at Devon based residential, nursing and dementia care home, and Residents took full advantage.
The glorious tree outside the main building looked incredible in the sunshine, with poor weather restricting activities outdoors, this was the perfect opportunity to soak up some sun and admire how picturesque the grounds were.
Residents enjoyed spending time watching the wildlife and listening to the peacocks while chatting together. They sat beside one of the oldest listed rhododendron bushes in the country, which is estimated to be around 100 years old!
One Resident said, “It’s so wonderful to feel the sunshine on my face!”
Everyone enjoyed looking at the tree and feeling the sunshine, while giggling together
New Home Manager, Julia, said, “I just love Gittisham Hill, feel really at home already!”
