Thundersley care home Resident enjoys an afternoon of exploringKathleen, a Resident at HC-One’s Godden Lodge care home in Thundersley, enjoyed an afternoon of exploring as she decided to go into the home’s garden to bask in the sunshine.

Kathleen, along with other Residents at the home, enjoyed feeling the sunshine on her skin, breathing in the lovely fresh air and admiring the flowers which bloomed in the garden.

Colleagues enjoyed assisting Kathleen as they helped to pick some daisies from the flower patch in the garden, for Kathleen to display in her room. Kathleen then sat and chatted with a few of the other Residents at the home, discussing the lovely sunny weather, before Kathleen gave one of them, Doreen, a flower.

Kathleen was then walked around the home, before she was able to indulge in a deliciously refreshing rocket ice-lolly.

Lanie Mizona, Home Manager, commented: “Kathleen has really enjoyed her afternoon, the recent warm weather has really benefitted our Residents.”
