Twice the birthday celebrations at Bolton care homeThere were twice as many celebrations today at HC-One’s Meadow Bank House in Great Lever, Manchester as two Residents had their birthday.

Unfortunately, lockdown means that the ladies’ families weren’t able to visit them, but Pamela and Maureen shared a wonderful day celebrating with Residents and Colleagues at the home.

Everyone played party games, including pass the parcel and Chinese whispers, and with the occasional glass of wine there were laughs all around.

Pamela, one of the birthday girls, said: “This is the last thing on Earth that I expected but I’m certainly not complaining.”

Colleagues worked hard to decorate the dining room with balloons and banners and organised a little tea party with the rest of the Residents.

Sheila, a Resident joining in with the fun, joked: “Can we do this everyday?”

Fun was had by everyone as Residents and Colleagues joined in to sing happy birthday to Pamela and Maureen and celebrate a wonderful occasion.
