Uddingston care home Resident reconnects with his musical pastimesHC-One’s Highgate care home in Uddingston, Glasgow was alive with the sound of music as Resident, George Lane played the guitar and mouth organ for the first time in years.

George has always had a passion for music and played the guitar and mouth organ regularly in his younger days, the team decided to surprise George by bringing his favourite instruments to his and room and even playing him some songs on the guitar.

After watching Olivia playing and singing along, George felt inspired to pick up the guitar for the first time in a long time and perform some of his favourite tunes.

Highgate General Manager, Jennifer McKellar said: “I am so pleased George enjoyed revisiting one of his favourite hobbies, the smile on his face really said it all.”
