Residents at HC-One’s Warrens Hall care home were delighted to enjoy an afternoon of celebrations as they held a party in commemoration of VE day.
The home was decorated with flags and bunting as Residents adorned their best hats, whilst reminiscent music played for them to dance and sing along to.
Old newspapers and posters were also placed around the home for Residents to read and admire as they spoke of their memories of VE day 75 years ago. Tea and cake was also provided alongside a selection of delicious snacks and cold refreshments.
One Resident remarked: “It’s so lovely to enjoy a special day like this, it’s particularly special for everyone to remember the heroes of the war.”
