One Resident enjoyed playing in the snow today at HC-One’s Colton Lodges in Colton, West Yorkshire.
Keith spends a lot of time in his room but, upon seeing the heavy snow outside turn the home’s garden into a fairytale scene, he decided he wanted to brave the winter chill and play in the snow.
Just minutes later he was wrapped up warm and playing in the snow with Wellbeing Coordinator Dawn McGawn.
As he enjoyed his wintery surroundings Keith said: “I forgot how cold the snow is!”
He talked about how much he loved seeing the trees covered in snow and frost and loved the feeling of snow despite the chill.
Colton Lodges Wellbeing Coordinator, Dawn McGawn, commented: “It was amazing to do something different. It made my day!”
