West Derby home does Halloween different this yearBellefield Court care home have done things a little differently this year for Halloween. To try and brighten up Residents’ day, Colleagues all wore Halloween outfits!

Also included in the day was a lovely buffet as well as spooky music, and an afternoon spent playing games, and singing.

The Residents had a lovely day, and some Residents, who do not usually want to come out of their rooms, joined in making and painting pumpkins.

The day’s film was an obvious choice of The Adams family, which the Residents loved. One of the Colleague’s relatives made some lovely baskets of Halloween themed with sweets for each of the Residents while watching the film.

“It was lovely to see how much effort the Colleagues had gone to lift our spirits - No pun intended,” joked one of the Residents.

Other Resident comments were, “What a lovely day!” and “I even enjoyed myself in my room”

Home Manager, Jackie Bridge, said, “Even in difficult times, it shows you can still have fun!”
