A Resident at HC-One’s Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay has recently been visited by her son in the homes new outside visiting area.
Eastbourne House Resident, Eileen Boyd was over the moon to finally see her son, John Boyd in the flesh after only being able to speak to him or Zoom video calls during the coronavirus lockdown.
Eastbourne House Resident, Eileen Boyd said: “I always enjoy seeing my son and catching up with all the gossip.”
Eileen was delighted to have finally had a visit from her son which made her face light up when she seen him. Visits are a crucial part of a Residents wellbeing and it was only possible thanks to all the hard work of the team at Eastbourne House.
Eastbourne Home Manager, Debbie White said: “It is so nice to see Residents faces light up when they see their family after such a long time.”
