Colleagues at Victoria Manor care home, in the West Midlands, held a reminiscing session for Residents based on wedding days.
Residents looked at photos of other peoples’ wedding and Colleagues set up a small display to remind people of their special wedding day.
Tina Booton, Home Manager, described the day, “We had a little fizz and some small wedding cakes to celebrate our display, and it was a good conversation point too.”
Residents enjoyed remembering their special day and time together with their families. They also loved the fizz and feeling special.
One of the Residents said, “This reminds me of my wedding day, I did not have a big dress like that though!
Tina added, “It was lovely to see something that brings people together and everyone enjoyed sharing memories.”
