Wigan Residents introduced to Bongo BingoResidents at HC-One’s Ashton View care home, in Ashton-in-Makerfield, played bingo today with a bit of a twist to the normal everyday kind that you may be familiar with.

Music was played in between each game while the prizes were being distributed. Everyone wore funky hats and had glow sticks.

“We loved it!” commented Alice Kenyon, who is a Resident.

Colleagues handed out drinks and snacks throughout too for Residents, who joined in from all the communities within the home.

Nelly Kelly, who also lives at Ashton View, exclaimed, “Woo, I won, I never win!”

Afterwards everyone had dinner including husband and wife Linda and Barry Hilton, who reside in different communities at the home but thoroughly enjoyed the covid-friendly dinner.

Demelza James, Home Manager, remarked, “We want to introduce this as a fortnight event as so many Residents loved it.”
