Woking care home’s new furry friendHC-One’s Kettlewell House care home have enjoyed welcoming their new furry friend to the home, and Residents are just as excited.

Ruby, the miniature dachshund puppy has been visiting the home for a few months now, settling in well at the home as she comes in every day with manager, Kate.

Residents have enjoyed giving Ruby all the attention, playing with her toys and going on a walk each day with a Resident and Colleague.

Ruby has truly brought joy to so many Residents in the home, as she is so full of energy and they love to watch her play, giving her plenty of cuddles and belly rubs – which she would never refuse!

She has also made friends with the home’s guinea pigs, Bubble and Cookie, playing with them everytime she is in the home.

Kate Patterson, Home Manager, commented: “I love bringing Ruby into the home, everyone just loves her so much and she definitely likes the attention.”
