Woking care home Residents enjoy music therapyHC-One’s Kettlewell House care home Residents have enjoyed re-starting their much loved music therapy sessions through Zoom video call.

Due to recent circumstances, the home has been unable to welcome their usual therapist to host a music session, so Residents were delighted to find they would now be able to resume their sessions through video calling app, Zoom.

The Residents have enjoyed this as they have been able to immerse themselves in the music through use of headphones, and this has enabled them to listen intently during each session of singing, instrument playing and even have their family members dial into the calls to listen to the sessions during 1 to 1 calls.

Home Manager, Kate Patterson, commented: “This has been a welcome return for Residents in the home, we’re already looking forward to resuming our face-to-face sessions when we are able to.”
