Woking care home Residents enjoy spot of gardeningResidents at HC-One’s Kettlewell House care home enjoyed a spot of gardening recently in honour of gardening month.

The wonderful sunny weather helped them do so, as they began tidying the garden, clearing weeds and replacing old flowers with new, brightly coloured flowers for the flower beds and planters.

As this will be an on going project, everyone has enjoyed beginning to see the difference it has made – with Residents happily planting seeds together in the hope that they grow to be beautiful flowers and plants.

The afternoon finished with a delicious cup of tea and a selection of chocolates to enjoy.

Kate Patterson, home manager, commented: “It’s wonderful to see the progress made on the garden, everyone has tried so hard.”
