Woking care home hosts art exhibitionResidents and team members enjoyed a special pop-up art exhibition at HC-One’s Kettlewell House care home in Woking.

Wellbeing Coordinator, Meg Priestley is a passionate artist in her personal time, so she decided to arrange an art exhibition for all to enjoy at Kettlewell House. Keen to get everyone exploring their creative side, Meg got Residents involved in creating pieces to display on the day,

Following COVID-19 guidelines, Kettlewell House was pleased to be able welcome some family members to attend the outdoor art exhibition to admire the wonderful work created by Meg and the very talented Residents at the home.

Food and beverages were served as everyone explored the different displays and Residents commented on how much they enjoyed getting creative and enjoying something positive after a difficult year.

Kettlewell House Home Manager, Kate Patterson said: “What an amazing idea! Well done to Meg for organising such a lovely event, we all enjoyed admiring the beautiful artwork.”

Located on Kettlewell Hill, Kettlewell House offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen in Surrey living with dementia that require residential or nursing memory care.
