The World Cycling Championships are currently being held in Harrogate, so Residents at HC-One’s Grosvenor House care home were delighted when they found that they could watch the races as they passed by the home.
On the afternoon of the 23rd September, some Residents and Colleagues stood outside of the home as they watched the Junior Men’s Time Trial race pass by.
With the sun beaming down on them, the Residents cheered on the cyclists as they went by so quickly.
Sue Nutter, Home Manager, commented: “Residents and Colleagues enjoyed watching some of the cyclists pass by the home today. The cyclic championships are such an important event in Harrogate and it is wonderufl that our Residents could feel involved.”
