Worsley Residents enjoy time outside in the gardenAt Worsley Lodge care home, which offers residential care, everyone has started getting stuck into the gardening, now that summer has finally arrived!

Residents and Colleagues have been very busy cleaning the patio and re-potting   plants along with some new ones for 2021. Residents have loved joining in, sat reminiscing which was bringing back lots of wonderful memories about looking after their own gardens at home.

Roy, who lives at Worsley and used to love gardening said he would not be able to do it as he thought he would mess them up as his eyesight is very poor.

However, Colleagues explained to him that they will help and guide him; he agreed    to join in after the first one there was no stopping him!

One Resident said, “What a lovely time we had. It brought back lovely memories and was a pleasure to join in.”

Anne Bannon, Care Home Manager, remarked, “What a lovely day planned... all enjoyed themselves sat chatting about the past nice memories.”
