Writing letters to loved ones at Wigston care homeResidents at HC One’s Magna care home have been spending their time writing letters to send to their loved ones.

Winnie, a Resident at the Wigston care home, with the help of Georgie (activities), wrote a lovely letter to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchild.

Winnie’s letter told of how much she misses her family members and that she hopes to see them soon. Georgie took a photo of Winnie holding her letter up so that the Grandchildren can see her.

Betty Markham, another Resident, sent a letter to her son and family saying how much she loves and misses them. Georgie took a lovely photo of Betty holding her letter up too.

Resident Avis Fawcitt sent a letter to her friend Brenda telling her that she is ok and that she hopes Brenda is alright and that she cannot wait to see her again.

The Residents commented “we think our families will enjoy reading our letters and seeing our photographs.”

The Colleagues at Magna, always try their best in times like these to keep the Residents spirits up, especially as they all miss their loved ones. Everyone at the home really do hope that they will be able to see their loved ones again soon.
