This lovely home has two sitting rooms and two dining areas in which to eat and socialise with garden views. In addition, a treatment room and hairdressing salon offer further opportunities to relax. The large enclosed garden, which is looked after by some of the Residents, is a popular place to catch up with friends and family. Richmond House recently won three awards at the Wigan and Leigh Hospice Awards including Manager of the Year, Outstanding Home of the Year and Outstanding Non-Clinical Support of the Year. The bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.
The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.
