There have been big celebrations recently at HC-One’s Appleton Manor care home, in Stockport, as a very special Resident, Verona, celebrated her 90th birthday with her family.
Verona’s daughters, Verona and Fylde and son Richard and daughter-in-law, Della were at the celebration, and Verona’s family bought lots of birthday cards and gifts from the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family enjoyed celebrating with Verona in the garden in the lovely sunshine. Birthday cake was made by Appleton Manor kitchen team and the family all enjoyed a slice or two!
Lots of photographs were taken and Appleton Manor Wellbeing Coordinator, Sarah, plans to create a photo album of memories for Verona & her family to keep.
Sarah commented: “What a lovely day and a nice surprise for Verona. Special moments like this create a lifetime of memories!”
