A fancy breakfast for Ashton-in-Makerfield ResidentsIt really was a delightful breakfast this morning at Ashton View residential memory, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Wigan, today as Residents gathered together for a continental selection.

Residents on the Pilling and Gerard communities got together for a very successful continental breakfast where they ate some delicious food including fruit, jam toast, fruit juice, boiled eggs, coffee and tea, and had a good chat.

Everyone loved picking what they would like to eat in their ‘Breakfast Club’. Joyce Timpson, who is a Resident at Ashton View, said, “How lovely, I think I am in a hotel!”

Kathleen Gaskell, who is a new Resident at the home, added, “This is so lovely and thank you for making me feel welcome.”

Annmarie Roberts, Wellbeing Coordinator, and Carer Lydia Cater, commented, “This created such a wonderful atmosphere where everyone was encouraged to have a conversation and enjoy the companionship. Residents thoroughly enjoyed their fancy breakfast.”
