A puppet show and high tea for Hampshire ResidentsResidents at residential and nursing care home, Chandlers Ford, in Eastleigh, were visited by giant puppets today, with a message of positivity and joy. 
 
Everyone enjoyed the last of the summer sun in Chandlers Ford’s pretty courtyard and were entertained by giant puppets provided by a local puppeteer company. 

The home’s Sharon Elkins, chef baked an array of muffins and pastries for high tea too. 

Residents found the puppets fascinating and enjoyed the cakes and pastries. Olwyn Leng, who lives at the home, commented, “A really enjoyable performance.” 

Home Administrator Annmarie, said, “It was really good, the puppets were amazing, not what I had expected at all.  The Residents enjoyed it!”

Lucy Hilferty, Home Manager, added, “A wonderful opportunity to enjoy the last of the summer sun and begin to feel normal again after such a long break from entertainment.”
