Aberdeen care home Residents enjoy wine and cheese tasting in the sunResidents at HC-One’s Hamewith Lodge in Aberdeen recently enjoyed an exciting wine and cheese tasting afternoon in the lovely Scottish sun.

Colleagues at Hamewith Lodge bought a large selection of different types of cheeses and wines for the Residents to enjoy. Residents where served different cheeses on type of some crispy crackers or some fluffy bread and a small glass of red wine to wash it down with.

There was also a selection of pineapple and pickled onions for Residents who don’t enjoy cheese so much. The afternoon went down a treat with Residents who enjoyed some lovely food in drink in the sun whilst listening to some music and even taking part in a small quiz.

One Hamewith Lodge Resident said: “There was some nice wine, I enjoy cheese, I do like a cheese and pickle cracker too.”

The nice sunny weather has been a lovely change for Residents and it has allowed for them to go outside into the homes garden more to get some lovely fresh air.

Hamewith Lodge Home Manager said: “Nice to see the Resident’s out enjoying the sun after a thunderstorm in the morning.”
