Residents have been getting creative at HC-One’s Barleystone care home in Falkirk.
Due to the tree decoration on their wall looking a bit dated and in need of some TLC, Residents painted some flowers and butterflies during Arts & Crafts sessions for the tree.
Residents loved using sparkle on the flowers, and after laminating, residents got to stick them on the tree along with some 3D ladybirds and bumble bees.
Everyone loves the new display and believes that it has really brightened up the space and makes them smile when they pass it.
Resident Gina commented that she “Couldn't believe how much a few flowers could brighten something up so much.”
Another Resident said: “What a difference all the colours make, every time we come past, we see something different.”
Barleystone Wellbeing Coordinator, Morag Whyte said: “The group had worked so hard and were so proud of their results!”
