Arts and crafts at Bradford care homeResidents at HC-One’s Knowles Court care home in Holmewood, Bradford have enjoyed a busy month of activities, including lots of arts and crafts.

Everyone has enjoyed exploring their creative side, including painting porcelain cups and saucers, creating bird feeders and painting salt dough ornaments. Residents have also enjoyed some indoor gardening including a sunflower growing competition.

A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting on how much they have enjoyed the activities. Molly commented that planting the sunflowers brought back memories of gardening at home while Sheila said it was nice to watch the birds eating from a feeder that she made.

Knowles Court Home Manager, Samantha Whinray said: “I am pleased that everyone has enjoyed the activities, the smiles on their faces really said it all.”

Situated on Bridgeway, Knowles Court care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen in Bradford that require residential care and nursing care.
