Residents at Avalon Park
residential and residential memory care home, in Oldham, took part in a balloon and parachute party this month.
Balloons were up and down to the beat of the music as dozens of balloons made their way into the middle of the parachute (see pictured). There were all sorts of games Colleagues played with Residents including a driving game.
Archie, who is a Resident at the home, joked, “This feels like I’m really driving the car!”
This was great exercise for the Residents and ran on into the evening.
Another Resident added, “I love to see the colours moving around and this looks great.”
Sue Jones, Care Home Manager, “I love how creative our activities are and we always try to host things that everyone can enjoy and this was no exception!”
