Colleagues at HC-One’s Capwell Grange care home in Luton, Bedfordshire have been busy this month collecting food to donate to a local food bank service.
Colleagues and Residents’ family members have kindly donated a variety of tinned food, all ready to be donated to the charity at the end of February.
One Resident commented: “This is such a nice, thoughtful idea from the staff.”
It has been an overwhelming experience for the Colleagues and they have received an extraordinary amount of support and donations, particularly by Relatives visiting Residents at the home.
Capwell Grange Home Manager, Nicola Berry, said: “It’s a pleasure to be a part of this idea. I am so proud of the home for doing their part for our local charity and to be able to share items with less fortunate families.”
