Residents and team members at HC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland celebrated Wellbeing Coordinator, Tracy McKerr being shortlisted for the Care Hero Award at the Northern Echo Health and Care Awards.
Tracy was nominated the Care Hero Award by her Colleague, Home Manager Emma Wade, the award recognises care workers that have made a difference to people’s lives every day.
Everyone was delighted at Eden House when Tracey was shortlisted for the award and eagerly watched the awards ceremony online with a tipple or two. Tracey did not win the award but her Colleagues and Residents agreed that it was an amazing achievement to be nominated and that she is their care hero.
Eden House Home Manager, Emma Wade said: “Tracey is such a dedicated member of the Eden House team, she is an inspiration to us all and it was lovely to celebrate her hard work.”
