The annual sunflower growing competition at HC-One’s Victoria House care home in Stockton-on-Tees has begun.
Every year, Residents at Victoria House plant their own sunflowers and wait an anticipation to see which one will grow to be the tallest. This year is no exception, the sunflowers have started to grow and everyone is enjoying giving their idea of which one they think sunflower will be crowned the winner.
One Resident commented: “It will be lovely to see all of the sunflowers when they are tall, I hope mine will be the tallest.”
Victoria House Home Manager, Sarah Dodsworth said: “This is a wonderful project which really brings the whole community at Victoria House together.”
