Things have been very different at Larchwood care home in Essex. Recently they have been showing off the amazing gardens at the home and are very pleased to announce that they are the winner of the Britain in Bloom Recognition Garden Award.
“It has been so nice for our gardens to be put forward for an award. Our garden areas are so important for our Residents to spend time in the outdoors with the lovely flowers and vegetables growing in our gardens. It was a surprise to get this award,” explained Jade Smith, who is the Home Manager.
Residents have said that they have enjoyed spending time in the garden, especially when the weather was nice. They particularly like the flowers and sitting in the fresh air while watching the pet rabbits playing.
