Residents at HC-One’s Springfield House care home in Gateshead, recently celebrated National Bird Watching Day by painting some wonderfully colourful bird feeders.
Springfield Resident had a lovely day painting bird feeder and making bird feed for National Bird Watch Day. Resident’s showed their artistic flare and chatted about their favourite birds and how they used to love feeding the birds as a child.
In the afternoon, Colleagues are going to help Residents spot some birds in the homes garden and the Residents are going to count how many different birds come into the garden and send the results to the RSPB.
Nora Mullen, a Resident at Springfield commented: “I've had a lovely day, I hope to see more birds in the Springfield garden.”
