Everyone got into the full swing of Pride Month at
Avon Court nursing, residential and nursing memory care home, in Chippenham.
Colleagues decorated the home in bright colours and wore some very colourful fancy dress costumes.
Residents also had a video Zoom call with other homes in the area where they read out a poem and sang a rainbow song to mark the day.
Everyone loved the whole colourful atmosphere and costumes. Ron Trigger, who lives at Avon Court, said, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon.”
Lyn and Leila, who are both members of the wellbeing team, described the events, “We had a lovely afternoon singing and dancing! There was also some delicious food and a cake beautifully decorated by our Manager, Irene.”
