In Stockport’s
Appleton Lodge residential care home, Residents enjoyed a cheese and wine evening with many different types of cheeses and wines to spruce things up in the evening.
Many Residents joined in with either cheese, wine or non-alcoholic options.
One Resident remarked, “This is really nice and is nice for a change, especially to sit in the garden with the nice weather we have had!”
Everyone liked sampling different cheeses and wines from around the world
Another Resident added, “I’ve been able to try things I’ve always wanted to try and you have broadened my horizons so thank you.”
Kay Slinger, Care Home Manager, said, “The Residents really enjoyed sampling different cheese and wine selections from around the world. When asked by the Residents what the occasion it was, I told them just because it’s Wednesday today and they agreed it was a perfect evening!”
