Chocolate and football at Wakefield care homeIt was a good day all around at HC-One’s Carr Gate care home in Wakefield as Residents celebrated World Chocolate Day and England reaching the semi-final of the UEFA European Football Championship.

The team combined the celebrations at Carr Gate by arranging a delicious chocolate fountain and other treats for Residents to enjoy as they watching the England v Denmark match.

Everyone got involved in sampling the chocolate fountain and cheered for their country to make it to the final. Residents were pleased to watch England win the match in extra time and eagerly waiting for the final on Sunday.

Carr Gate Home Manager, Amy Brown said: “What a great day, everyone enjoyed combining their love of chocolate and supporting their country in a big football tournament.”
