This month at
Claremont in Ayr, which offers nursing and nursing dementia care, Residents have been getting a head start with their Christmas cards.
With HC-Ones Christmas Card competition fast approaching, Residents at Claremont have been getting a head start with their designs. The winner of the competition will see their entry reproduced and sent out to them, along with digital versions sent out to everybody at HC-One.
The activity had invited general discussion on Christmas traditions amongst the Residents, who all shared stories of when they were younger and what they did with their families. They used this as inspiration as to how they were designing their Christmas cards. Residents said afterwards how much they enjoyed designing them, Nancy said, “I enjoyed coming up with ideas, I love being creative” and Irene went on to say, “Christmas is my favourite time of the year”.
Catherine, the Home Manager said, “I am really happy that everyone enjoyed themselves making the cards, I hope they do well!”
