The festivities have commenced at Kirkby House care home in Kirkby this week.
Christmas crafts included different colours of sand which were poured into plastic Christmas tree moulds to make bauble.
Seven Residents, including Mary, Addy, Margaret and Betty, as well as Colleagues took part in the Christmas craft. The highlight of the crafts was using the paints and glitter. The crafts will be put into gift bags for Relatives.
One Resident remarked, “I hope my daughter loves her gift.”
Laura, who is a Colleague at Kirkby House, said, “The Residents have really enjoyed this and it was wonderful to see.”
“Everyone is looking forward to giving the gifts to their loved ones.”
