At HC-One’s
Stadium Court care home, in Stoke-on-Trent, which offers residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care, one Resident was over the moon as she got to see her daughter in her bridal gown.
Margaret Locker, who is a Resident at the home, was unable to go to her daughter’s wedding, so Colleagues went the extra mile to make sure she could still experience all the celebrations. She had her hair and make-up applied and Colleagues helped to organise some fancy clothes.
Daughter Jane, who married her husband Clive on 31st July this year, had both come to the home today, equipped with a ‘mother of the bride’ outfit for Margaret.
Colleagues made sure Margaret was ready to have her photo taken with the happy couple (pictured).
When Margaret saw her daughter Jane she had a tear in her eye. Margaret enjoyed the whole experience and Jane and Clive went away happy because they now have the photos put in their wedding album.
