Continual learning for Swallownest ColleaguesWhen Sheffield’s Swallownest residential and nursing care home’s Senior Carer, Tracy Irek, was asked if she would like to complete her level 3 diploma. Upon hearing this, she was worried that she may not be able to do this as it has been over 40 years since she was at school but she took up the challenge nervously!

Tracy is now over the moon to find that she has passed her Diploma with merits; despite all the additional work and disruption the pandemic has caused her learning.

People living at Swallownest are pleased Tracy has been able to achieve this as they know she was worried. They encouraged her.

Roger Dunwell, who is a Resident at Swallownest, said, “Tracy is really lovely and always makes sure we are well looked after. She deserves the recognition for her hard work.”

Amanda Fields, Care Home Manager, remarked, “I'm incredibly proud of Tracy's hard work and determination in completing her diploma with such a fantastic grade!”

Well done Tracy, what a fabulous achievement!
