Residents at HC-One’s Kintyre care home in Campbeltown are dawning their chef whites each week for cooking club, where they make a variety of delicious dishes.
Every Wednesday, Residents come together for a cooking club, where they make their favourite baked goods and tasty treats. Everyone enjoys sharing stories and cooking tips they have picked up over the years as they work on different dishes each week.
The hard work of the cooking club participants is enjoyed by all Residents in the afternoon when everyone comes together to sample the finished product. The cooking clubs are becoming very popular with several ‘cooking stars’ taking part every week.
Kintyre Home Manager, Jennifer McKellar said: “It’s great to see so many people taking part in our cooking club sessions, the end results always smell and look delicious.”
